About us
We have had the pleasure of owing all coats in the miniature dachshund for over 25 years. We fell in love with the breed after seeing them at a local dog show and after acquiring our first mini wire Heather, we quickly grew in numbers and spent many years showing them up and down the UK.
We currently have an older mini wire Holly and a mini smooth Ernie both with various medical problems but they are happy sharing their home with doggie guests.
Our home provides a safe environment and spacious garden to while away the hours, basking in the sun. We offer a bespoke plan tailor made for your dog, home from home with all their needs catered for. For those that like the country we have low and high level walks around Bennachie and Dunnydeer. The less mobile are also catered for with use of a doggy stroller, so no one needs to miss out on the fun.
My husband and I have had long careers within the NHS and I am studying Veterinary nursing at home.
We have boarded dogs with a variety of illnesses including, cardiac problems, seizures, allergies, diabetes, limb problems and of course IVDD.
Having Ernie has taught us the necessary care an IVDD dog with paralysis needs on a day to day basis.
We welcome dogs with this disability, to receive all the care and attention they would do at home.
We also have a wide range of complimentary therapies available ( with consent from your own vet) close by, so your dog can still have hydrotherapy, Physio or laser treatment whilst they are boarding with us.
Fully licensed, insured, vet checked and an associate member of the British Veterinary Nursing Association.
Current canine first aid certificate.
